All of the art work shown is carefully handcrafted in my workshop in Boston, Ky. I have been doing creative work with pressed flowers for over 15 years. my interest started in Maine where my Grandmother taught me the basics of this traditional art form.

PRESSED FLOWER ART

Using the old fashioned methods taught by my grandmother I pick my flowera at the peak of bloom, then press and preserve them while they are still at their best.

I recently moved to Kentucky from Maine for the longer growing and I am still preparing the soil and land for new beds. The flower varieties that I grow have been selected for their brightness and color retention and I hope the new longer season will just add to their strength.

Once the flowers have been through the pressing process, they are ready to be used in my unique still life and landscape designs. I fashion these works of art in many sizes, from 4" by 12" up to22" by 28", and I have accepted commissioned works for much larger frames.
